LAST UPDATED 12 OCTOBER 2026 (REV 3)
The short version. Every tool in MACRO PRO runs on your phone, and your work is stored there. If you sign in, a copy of it is kept in your account as a safety net — nothing more than that. We do not sell anything to anybody, and we do not track you between apps.
MACRO PRO is published by Jagpreet Gautam, an individual developer in India. For anything in this policy, write to macropro200@gmail.com.
Nothing at all until you choose to sign in. The app is fully usable without an account; the only thing you lose is the backup.
| What | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To identify your account and let you sign in on another phone | Firebase Authentication |
| Date of birth | Birthday greeting, and confirming you are 16 or over | Cloud Firestore |
| Display name | Shown to you in the app. Optional. | Firebase |
| Profile photo | Shown to you in the app. Optional, and only you can see it. | Firebase Storage |
| A backup of your saved programs and settings | So your work survives a lost or replaced phone | Cloud Firestore |
| Sign-in and tool-open counts | To know which tools are worth improving | Cloud Firestore |
| Free macro programs used | So the free allowance is the same on every phone you sign in on | Cloud Firestore |
| A referral code you redeem | To unlock Premium and make sure each code is used only once | Cloud Firestore |
The app reads and writes your work on the phone, always. The account copy is a backup, and it is treated like one:
You can switch the backup off entirely in Settings and keep using everything, or press Back up now if you want certainty before handing the phone over.
The free version shows adverts through Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device's advertising ID to decide which advert to show and to count it. That identifier is controlled by you: on Android, Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset it or turn off personalisation entirely.
Premium removes adverts completely, and with them the ad identifier.
What AdMob does with that data is governed by Google's own policy, not by us.
Premium is an optional monthly or yearly subscription, with a free trial for new subscribers, sold through Google Play. The price, the trial and the renewal terms are shown by Google Play before you subscribe.
Payment is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your card, UPI or bank details, your name on them, or your billing address. Play tells the app one thing: whether this account's subscription is active right now. When it ends, Premium ends with it.
You can cancel at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or from Settings → Manage subscription in the app. Cancel before a free trial ends and you are not charged. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy.
A referral or gift code unlocks the same things as Premium. When you redeem one, we store a record of the code, the account that redeemed it and the time, so that each code works only once. That record is kept even if the account is later deleted, so the code cannot be used again.
The programs you generate are your work, and often your customer's part drawing in another form. They are treated accordingly:
For as long as your account exists. Delete the account and everything goes with it — see below. Delete the app without deleting the account and the backup stays, so that signing in on a new phone still restores your work.
If you never sign in, nothing is kept anywhere but your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it. Export first if you want to keep it.
Asked for once, when you create an account, and required. It is stored with your account and a copy is kept on the phone so the app still works with no signal.
It is used for two things and nothing else:
It is never used for advertising, never shared, and never sold. Change or clear it in Settings, or delete your account and it goes with everything else.
In the app: Settings → Delete your account and everything in it. Two taps. It removes your account, your backed-up programs and your profile photo immediately.
Or by email: write to macropro200@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. Deleted within 30 days, usually the same week. See the account deletion page.
Wherever you are, you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to macropro200@gmail.com. If you are in the UK or EU, the lawful bases are consent for the optional account and legitimate interest for keeping the app working and secure.
MACRO PRO is a professional tool for machinists and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and it will be removed.
On Google Cloud servers in India (asia-south2). Google may process it elsewhere under their own terms; see the Firebase privacy documentation.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and the app will say so on next launch. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to data already collected.

Questions about a specific program, a bug, or your data are all welcome at the same address. The app can write the email for you: Settings → Report.
